With the support of Enda O'Coineen and Euro Car Parks, Howth Yacht Club is giving ten under-25 sailors the opportunity to take the step into keelboat racing at a number of J/24 championships, open events and club races building up to competing at the J/24 Worlds at Howth next year.

Applications are now being sought (by April 4th) from those sailors wishing to be considered for selection on to two 5-person crew panels. The club will provide the two crews with a competitive J/24 with brand new sails from Hyde Sails Irish distributor, as well as an Etchells, in order to compete in one-design and major IRC racing in Ireland and the UK.

More information on the selection process and criteria, the costs associated with the Youth Keelboat Team and a schedule of events planned for this season can be found here.
