We've initiated the process of reviewing our 2020 Vision strategy and we want to hear how you feel about the current operation of the ISA as well as any ideas you have so that we can work to improve our services for the benefit of all our members in the future.

ISA Junior All Ireland Championship



Seáfra Guilfoyle from Royal Cork Yacht Club has been crowned the 2013 ISA Junior All Ireland Sailing Championship after a nail bitingly close nine race regatta. Going in to the medal race Seáfra and his crew Richard McGinley were tied on points at the top of the leader board with fellow ISA Academy sailor Finn Lynch but a fourth for Seáfra in the medal race was enough to put him two points clear of Finn to claim the prestigious title.

Open Letter to Team New Zealand



Yesterday Oracle Team USA staged a massive comeback to win 34th America’s Cup but an open letter for Team New Zealand was published online from the non-sailing Kiwis back home. It brilliantly sums up why they as a nation get behind their country's sportsmen and women regardless of the sport.   

Right now Ryan Seaton & Matt McGovern and Andrea Brewster and Saskia Tidey are representing our country at the 49er Worlds. We should remember "We are Team IRL and our name is on the boat!"

The ISA and Mitsubishi Motors are delighted to once again seek nominations for the ISA Mitsubishi Motors Club of the Year Award.

The award, which has been in existence for over three decades, will be presented at the ISA Annual Awards Ball on the 1st of March 2014 in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire.

Call on Government to Invest in Sporting Jobs



Irish sport has appealed to the Government to invest a total of €4.58 million – one euro for every citizen – in a fund specifically designed to create jobs in sport. The appeal is at the core of a pre-budget submission by the Federation of Irish Sport, the representative body for the governing bodies of all of the major sports in Ireland.

The National Yacht Club are hosting two different talks in October.

GBSC Access Sailing Programme

The 2012 season in Galway Bay Sailing Club had been a great success but they couldn't have foreseen the new levels their programme would reach in 2013.

Kona One Design Windsurfing 



Kona, a one design windsurf fleet has taken Malahide Yacht Club by storm. This fast growing, fun, affordable and accessible sport provides exciting competition for all levels. The initial fleet has grown quickly during 2012 and the start of 2013 with many people deciding to buy a Kona as soon as they stepped onto one. With the inaugural Kona Nationals taking place on Saturday the 5th of October there's no better time to find out how you can get involved.
